In The Manufacturing Area

The factories that we work with have all been in business for more than twenty years, are reliable, well established, and in-compliance. These factories are both large and small.  The domestic factories are smaller, having between 30 and 150 employees. The off shore facilities have between 200 and 2500 employees. All of the facilities are air conditioned, clean and bright.  They are well engineered and in some cases highly automated with both in-line inspection as well as 100% final inspection.  A detailed factory profile will be sent to potential customers after a telephone conversation enables us to analyze your needs and determine which factory is best for you.

Relationships and Fees:

We represent the factories, but for production you would not be working through us but directly with the owners of the factory. My job is to identify appropriate customers for their facilities. There is no fee from my company to brand owners looking for production; my compensation comes from the factories.

Fabric and Trims

Please also note that we act as pure contractors that work for manufacturers and brands.   We supply to our customers, with a few exceptions, only labor and thread. We make the garments while our customers supply all of the fabric, trims, pocketing, labels and packing materials. The only trims that we can supply are interlinings, elastic and sometimes zippers and plain standard buttons.

Minimums:

Most of the domestic factories will take spot production and modest quantities.  The off shore factories want programs for at least 24 weeks of production.  The minimum quantities for off shore are basically the units needed to run one line efficiently.

Customer List:

Our customer list includes many of the most famous companies in the apparel industry.  The labels for which the factories have produced clothing include:

Polo Sport, Carhartt, Bonobos, Liz Claiborne, Bill’s Khakis, Woolrich, Pendleton Woolen Mills, Talbots, Flint & Tinder, Ballin, Jack Victor Clothing, Corbin Trouser, Dickies, Southeastern Performance Apparel, Tyndale Enterprises, Underarmour, Superior Uniform Group, Blauer Mfg., Fechheimer Brothers, Bensol Trouser, American Trouser, Dennis School Uniform and many others.
